Chinese Lantern Festival in Franklin Square - May 21st

You are invited to the Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival in historic Franklin Square.

This event is presented by Historic Philadelphia.  The lantern display should be a beautiful sight as the sun sets at 8:15pm and lanterns glow.

We have a reservation for 40 people on Saturday, May 21st, at 7pm.  Arrival time must be between 7pm and 8pm.   We can stay as late as 10pm or so.   The event is held rain or shine with no refunds.

Important:   RSVP by Friday, May 6, at 3pm.   Order form can be found here.
The special group rate is $10 for children up to age 17; $14 for adults 18 and older.

There will be displays, cultural activities, exhibits and authentic Chinese performances (most likely 6pm8pm).   Chinese performances include acrobatics, face-changing, and traditional Chinese dance and music.

There is a website.   Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival
For those who wish to come early, we also will explore the option of going to nearby Chinatown for dinner.
